Stony Kill is pleased to offer Family Farm Days, a hands-on, outdoor education experience that’s fun for the whole family. Families choose from a selection of our most popular programs listed below that are tailored to all ages. Programs are run by a naturalist educator with a choice of 2 one-hour programs. All programs are held outdoors, following social distancing guidelines and wearing masks. Please note, this is not a drop-off program. Programs will be rescheduled if rain is in the forecast.
Program fees include one household, up to 5 people:
$60 for non-members, 2 hour program
$50 for members, 2 hour program
$30 for 1 hour program
$10 for each additional family member
*NEW* – From August 14 – September 4 we’ll be offering a schedule of Family Farm Day programming Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for up to 4 families each time slot. Register here, programs are as follows:
- 10 am to 12 pm – Honeybees and Insect Safari
- 1 to 2 pm – Pond Ecology
- 10 am to 12 pm – Survival
- 1 to 2 pm – Orienteering
- 10 am to 12 pm – Papermaking
- 1 – 2 pm – Barn Tour with Livestock
Farm Pod Days: We are now offering our Family Farm Days to include up to 4 households that are quarantining together. Each household should complete a registration form, create a name for your Farm Pod and choose the same programs. Registration fees are per household as indicated below. Social distancing and PPE will still be required.
