Get your family outdoors and learning with Stony Kill Foundation! From farm to forest, our Youth & Family Programs are designed to share Stony Kill’s environmental, agricultural, and historical education with our community through hands-on experiences. Our programs are the perfect opportunity for all ages to learn something new!

Holiday Barn Tours: Saturday, December 21st
10:30am to 11:30am AND 11:30am to 12:30pm
Join us for a staff-guided tour of our barn and livestock! Stony Kill’s staff will share details about raising our livestock, teach about our heritage breeds, and introduce guests to everyone’s favorite barn animals. Learn about the barn from our Stony Kill experts, enjoy hot cocoa, and end with a festive farm craft to make Stony Kill a part of your holiday.
Registration is $5 per person, with ages 2 and under free. Registration is required.
Winter Camp
Revisit summer friends and farm fun for a few days this winter break! Try your hand at farming, explore the winter landscape, and reconnect with your summer camp friends for a few days of fun. Exploring the outdoors is never out of season!
Register for one, two, or all three days of programming. Programs are suitable for ages 4-12 years.
Junior Farmer: Monday, December 23rd, 10am to 2pm
Spend the day farming at Stony Kill! Join our winter camp counselors in working with the animals, trying your hand at farm crafts, and taking an inside look at the Stony Kill barn.
Young Naturalist: Friday, December 27th, 10am to 2pm
Delve into nature from the wintertime perspective! Experience a different season of wildlife, work with natural materials in unique crafts, and get outside with friends old and new.
Winter Wonderland: Monday, December 30th, 10am to 2pm
The wonders of winter have never been more fun! Enjoy the uniqueness of the winter season, learn new cold-weather skills, and investigate the science of winter weather.
Registration is $55 per day with discounts for additional siblings. Registration is required.
