Stony Kill Foundation offers public programs for all interests, ages, and experience levels to take advantage of all Stony Kill Farm has to offer. These programs span a wide range of topics and disciplines that allow our community to explore agricultural, environmental, and historical topics.

From Hatch to Hen
Saturday, June 6 | 11:30 am – 12:30 pm | all ages | $10 per person, ages 3 and under free
Join us for a hands-on workshop all about raising healthy, happy chicks! Perfect for beginners and curious animal lovers alike, this class will walk you through the essentials of chick care—from incubation to brooding and feeding to health, housing, and what to expect as your chicks grow.
You’ll also get to meet and learn about our different breeds of heritage chickens, each with their own unique traits, personalities, and egg-laying styles.

Get Outdoors and Get Together Day
Saturday, June 13 | 10 am to 2pm
all ages and all abilities
Get Outdoors & Get Together Day brings together people of all abilities, ages, identities, and backgrounds for fun, guided, and FREE outdoor activities as part of the Governor’s initiative to broaden the diversity of users and ensure inclusive access to state public lands.
