
Stony Kill Foundation oversees the daily operations and community programming at Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center in Wappingers Falls, NY. Thousands of people visit the 754-acre farm each year, participating in our signature environmental education programs, growing fruits and veggies in the community garden, hiking the trails, and enjoying the outdoors. Stony Kill Farm is a place where people from all backgrounds and walks of life can slow down, admire the scenery, and connect with the environment.

Environmental Education/Farm Interns – Fall/Winter
We are hiring two Fall/Winter Environmental Education & Farm Interns (paid) to join our energetic education team at the farm. Seasonal Interns contribute to the planning, preparation, and delivery of our field trips, homeschool and public programs. These 3 – 9 month positions will begin in November 2025 and are well suited for those who enjoy the outdoors and have a talent for teaching and inspiring curiosity in others!

Outdoor Educators
We’re currently hiring Outdoor Educators to join our dynamic education team. This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to share their passion and knowledge with school field trips, homeschool groups, and other educational programs. We have multiple openings available – perfect for those who enjoy teaching, nature, and a flexible schedule.
