
Stony Kill Foundation oversees the daily operations and community programming at Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center in Wappingers Falls, NY. Thousands of people visit the 754-acre farm each year, participating in our signature environmental education programs, growing fruits and veggies in the community garden, hiking the trails, and enjoying the outdoors. The beautiful Stony Kill Farm is a place where people from all backgrounds and walks of life can slow down, admire the scenery, and connect with the environment.

Part-Time Development and Events Coordinator
Working alongside our Executive Director and as part of our Development Committee, we are looking to hire a part-time Development and Events Coordinator to help support Stony Kill Foundation’s well-regarded community programming and continued stewardship of Stony Kill Farm through grants, seasonal events and fundraising initiatives.

Environmental Education & Farm Interns: Summer Season
We are currently hiring for our Summer Environmental Education & Farm Internship program. This program offers young professionals an opportunity to share their knowledge and curiosities of nature, the farm, and how they connect with our community. Summer Farm Interns will work closely with the Program Director in planning and delivery of Stony Kill Foundation’s Summer Explorers Day Camp. Interns see all facets of farm life, including animal care, garden tasks, and so much more.

Assistant Camp Director
We are looking for an Assistant Camp Director to aid in the leadership of Stony Kill Foundation’s Summer Explorers Day Camp. The Assistant Camp Director will work closely with our Program Director, who will serve as the Camp Director, in planning, facilitating, administrating, and guiding staff for our 2025 summer season. This is a great opportunity for young professionals with prior camp experience looking to hone pre-existing leadership qualities.

Volunteer Summer Explorer CITs
The Summer Explorers Volunteer CIT program offers opportunities for teens ages 13-17 to play a part in our summer fun. CITs, or “Counselors In Training,” work closely with our Senior Counselors to play a role in making a memorable summer. CITs serve as a role model for our campers, gain experience in leadership, and enjoy all the fun Summer Explorers has to offer!
CITs must be able to commit to at least one full week, and attend a training on Sunday, June 8.
