Winter Break Explorers Program is open to ages 5-11 and takes place from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. You can register for one or all four of our unique exploration days. Explorers fee is $60 per child per day and $50 for each additional sibling per day OR $230 per child and $200 per sibling for the full session of all four days. Explorers bring their own lunch, a snack and refillable water bottle. Explorers will enjoy a special visit with the Stony Kill Livestock each day. Winter themes and dates are:
| December 22 | Winter Survival: Learn winter survival skills including navigation, orienteering and the multi-use of paracord. Let your compass be your guide! |
| December 23 | Snow Science: We’ll investigate snowflakes and their composition and make an icy snow craft to take home. It will be snow much fun! |
| December 29 | Animals in Winter: Learn how animals adapt to winter, how to find and identify animal tracks and discover their hidden clues in the forest. Let’s see who we can find at the farm! |
| December 30 | Cooking on a Campfire: Join us for an outdoor culinary delight! We’ll make our own vegetable soup, bread and a sweet treat over the campfire. It’s going to be a delicious campfire experience! |
