Stony Kill Foundation offers public programs for all interests, ages, and experience levels to take advantage of all Stony Kill Farm has to offer. These programs span a wide range of topics and disciplines that allow our community to explore agricultural, environmental, and historical topics.

Dutchess County Sheep and Wool Growers Tours

Saturday, November 22 | 10am to 4pm

at the SKF Livestock Barn and Barn Classroom

Stop by the farm to learn about our heritage Tunis sheep flock from the Stony Ground 4H Shepherds. Be sure to check out the fiber art displays and demos in our barn classroom. And for our knitters and crocheters, we’ll have skeins of Tunis yarn for sale.


Holiday Barn Tours

Join us for a staff-guided tour of our historic barn and heritage livestock! Stony Kill’s staff will share details about raising our livestock, teach about our heritage breeds, and introduce guests to everyone’s favorite barn animals. Learn about the barn from our Stony Kill experts, enjoy hot cocoa, and end with a festive farm craft to make Stony Kill a part of your holiday.
