Parking
Scenic Hudson is allowing passengers to park at Long Dock Park (location here). Enter Long Dock Park and take the fork to the right. Then park to the right of the red building. Leave a note on your dash that says “Sailing on the Clearwater.” Near the right side of the building is a short path through the trees that will take you to the ferry dock (map below). Parking spaces are also typically available at the Beacon Metro North Station near the Ferry Dock for $3.50. Please be sure to give yourself more than enough time to find a parking space and get to the dock.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you are unable to use your ticket, you may give it to someone else to use. Please let us know beforehand if possible. Cancellations less than 72 hours beforehand and no shows are nonrefundable. If you need to cancel your ticket(s) for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible at (845) 831-3800 or by email to kim@clearwater.org. Please note that we are unable to refund any payment transaction fees.
Weather
Clearwater sails under most weather conditions except if it is deemed unsafe by the Captain, such as thunder/lightning, sheeting rain, and/or extremely high winds. Please check the forecast and dress for the weather. If the Captain cancels the sail, it would occur the day of the scheduled sail. We will make every effort to provide as much notice as possible in the event of a cancellation. If the sail is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule the sail for a mutually agreeable time. If this happens, you may either join us for the rescheduled date, request a refund (minus any transaction fees), or apply your ticket purchase as a tax-deductible donation to support Stony Kill.
